Join us Tuesday January 10th for our first Council gathering of 2017

Join us at 415 Westlake for a special start to the new year.  It will all begin with Councilmember Sally Bagshaw who will be in attendance for a special recognition honoring SLUCC board member Jerry Dinndorf for his many years of dedicated service to the city of Seattle and the South Lake Union Neighborhood.

We are expecting a great attendance with representatives from SDOT, OPCD, METRO and WSDOT among others. The event will be streamed live (and archived on our facebook page).  For the business portion of our meeting we will be taking questions for the speakers via facebook.  The latter is an effort to make our meetings accessible to those that can’t attend.

CORE PRESENTATIONS:

The core presentations will be Councilmember Bagshaw.  A WSDOT presentation of the SLU impacts on the conclusion of Bertha tunneling on the SR 99 project.  Seattle Housing Dir. Steve Walker will talk about housing priorities in the city and we will present our advocacy plan for SLU. We will also hear from METRO on the plan for restricted lanes on Denny to accommodate transit.
